As the pupils in our school progress with their reading we like to enocourage a more independent approach to reviewing what they have read. We have devised an online Book Review form which pupils can download, fill in and upload to the wiki or school server.

Book Review Form Instructions:
All of the boxes are Text boxes so as soon as you click inside the box you can start typing. Inserting a picture of the front cover of the book.
There is a box for inserting a picture of the front cover of your book. You may be able to find an image of the front cover by searching for it on Google Images or Bing. Right click on the picture, press copy and then paste it onto your page. You may need to right click on the picture and press FORMAT PICTURE, LAYOUT and IN FRONT OF TEXT. Then drag the picture into the correct place and resize if needed. Genre:
If you right click on the box that describes the genre of your book you can then press FORMAT AUTOSHAPE and then choose a FILL COLOUR. Book Highlight:
Click on the box, delete 'Delete this text and type here' and start typing in your own personal highlight of that book. Star Reviews:
Right click on a star and press FORMAT AUTOSHAPE, and then choose a FILL COLOUR (yellow is best). Repeat this for however many stars you feel your book deserves.
How to put it on the Wiki:
Save your file as the book name and your name e.g. Harry Potter Mr Roberts. Remember where you saved your file on your computer. Go to the Book Reviews Upload page and press Edit this Page. Then choose File from the toolbar at the top of the page (a box with a little picture of an orange sun above two green mountains). Press Upload Files. You will then need to find where you saved your Book Review file on your computer. Press Open and after a few seconds it will appear on the list. Double click on the file and it should appear on the page. To finish, press Save.
